PressurePro Germany: Introducing the new Drop and Hook tire pressure system for the German and European market.
Bendorf, Germany, August 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SpecialTrade24 Import & Export Solution in partnership with Spezialshop24 is pleased to announce the introduction of a new Intelligent Drop & Hook After-Market TPMS for the German Market. The system, first in the market, has been designed to work specifically with multi trailer fleets, allowing automatic tethering and un-tethering of trailers to tractors.
Building on core strengths, PressurePro market leading technology in Tire Pressure Measuring System includes Telematics, GPS solutions, and vehicle communication systems.
The Intelligent System includes an Intelligent Monitor, Intelligent Repeater and Sensors. The monitor is mounted in the cab and displays the current pressure and alerts to a driver or it can be integrated with other Telematic products in the vehicle to report pressures and alerts to an office / remote management system. The system can read 16 tires per tractor and with the use of an Intelligent Repeater up to 3 trailers.
Total Number of Tire Positions Possible: 64 Tires
The Intelligent Repeater is installed onto a trailer and hooks into the trailer’s power (ABS) line, allowing communication of the trailer’s sensors with the Intelligent Monitor (or Bridge) in the tractor. When the tractor or trailer are tethered, the Monitor picks up the ID’s, pressures and positions of Sensors on the trailer from the Intelligent Repeater. When the trailer is unhooked and there is no more communication for 20 seconds, the Monitor automatically “forgets” that trailer and begins to look for new readings. When a new trailer is introduced, the Monitor recognizes the new IR and accepts its full information.
