Boldwerks Selects Avis Goodwin and AANE as Recipients of $15,000 Goodwerks Nonprofit Prize

Boldwerks, a creative marketing agency based in Portsmouth, NH, has selected Avis Goodwin Community Health Center and the Asperger’s Association of New England as partners in the first semi-annual Goodwerks Project. A donation of up to $7,500 in pro-bono creative services will be awarded to each organization.

Portsmouth, NH, August 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Boldwerks, a creative marketing agency based in Portsmouth, NH, has selected two area nonprofit organizations as partners in the first semi-annual Goodwerks Project. A donation of up to $7,500 in pro-bono creative services will be awarded to each organization.

The company selected Avis Goodwin Community Health Center and the Asperger’s Association of New England as award recipients. Avis Goodwin is a regional healthcare provider with locations in Dover and Rochester, NH that provides high-quality health services regardless of the ability of recipients to pay. AANE works across New England to foster awareness of Asperger’s Syndrome and support the families and individuals affected by the condition.

“We were overwhelmed by the response from the nonprofit community,” says Eric Tapley, Managing Director. “We ended up choosing two recipients because their needs are so compelling. It’s an honor to, in our small way, assist people doing such amazing work.”

Avis Goodwin will be receiving services dedicated to energizing the organization’s identity, brand, and website.

AANE will be participating with Boldwerks in a regional outreach campaign to increase awareness of Asperger’s Syndrome, the demands placed on individuals and families by the condition, and education about how to become involved with AANE and support their efforts.

The response and outpouring of support for the Goodwerks Project grew rapidly since the Project was announced in July and has set increased plans for the Second Goodwerks Project. An announcement regarding the details and application process for the next Project will be released after the new year.
