Taiwan government agency chooses Min-Sheng Hospital to showcase Taiwan's international healthcare.

Taoyuan, Taiwan, August 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- As Taiwan strives to become a destination for an increasing number of patients looking for healthcare options outside of their home country, Min-Sheng Hospital was again among the hospitals chosen to showcase the level of readiness of healthcare organizations in this country.

Min-Sheng Hospital, the first JCI accredited (and reaccredited) hospital in Taiwan, was on the itinerary of Med Tourist Center, an American medical travel agency based in Houston, TX. The delegation included, among others, Miss Grace Chen and Mario Lim of Med Tourist Center, Mses Scully Wang, Amy Chang and Mr. Babs Chang of TAITRA. They were received by Dr. Chen Shin-Han, director of the International Healthcare department (IHC) at Min-Sheng Hospital, who introduced the organization and discussed Min-Sheng’s experience in the field of medical tourism, before leading a visit of the hospital facilities.

The visitors were shown the features of particular interest to foreign patients, like the Executive Health check Center, The international ward, the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, and the Kiosk technology used throughout the hospital.

Miss Wang of TAITRA summed up the general mood after the visit, when she proclaimed “We are very impressed by the achievements that you’ve made lately.”
