Capsule Collective Runway Show Introduces Much Needed Uniqueness and Retail Flexibility

New York, NY, August 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Capsule Collective runway show is an international selection of six independent fashion designers that focus on unique basics and innovative fabrics for the consumer that wants to supplement their wardrobe with new fresh designer labels.

The runway show will take place at Nolcha Fashion Week: New York on September 15th at 3pm, simultaneously with New York Fashion Week at the iconic Bohemian National Hall in association with Czech Republic Consulate General.

The retail world is changing and this requires designers to change their shift from large collections with 50 plus sku’s to tight, quaint collections that exemplify a vision for that season. This is the embodiment of the Capsule Collective runway: the designers will show ten unique looks each on the same stage; fresh and modern for the buyers looking to supplement their sales floors with emerging talent.

Ahsan Design Studio is a renowned couture house specializing in womenswear, with a new ready to wear collection. The idea is to dress to impress with excess and finesse. Spring 2010 brings Bohemian in a Vintage Romantic way.

Christina Crawford draws from the personality of Mariyln Monroe, who represents a style of unique femininity; vulnerable and innocent but with a combination of an innate sensuality and determination. The collection puts forth timeless pieces a little out of the ordinary that idealizes the female form.

emeDesigns committed to their usual glorious fit: it is about the woman, not the label, but this season they have added in the Romance of Vintage with a Soft Palette of Natural Colors. Combining the passion of a couturier and the skill of a dressmaker atelier each design comes together, not simply as another dress but as a work of art for life.

The Jessica Joyce collection expresses mystery, femininity, comfort and playfulness. Choosing naturally comfortable fabrics and creating novel shapes by playing with sophisticated details and nature-inspired prints the unveiling will be both energetic and contemporary.

Nadia Nour contemporary collection features vibrantly dyed organic silks and cottons crafted into intricate couture-inspired silhouettes. Introducing richly hued organic fabrics with high thread counts and the sophisticated feel of conventional designer fabrics, she proves that women do not have to sacrifice style and sophistication to be green.

Sado’s collection is inspired by 4 elements: sun, sea, nature and love. The color palette is gold, blue, green and red with a glimpse of grey. A water drop that flows and splashes is the primary element of the collection. The warmth and texture of sand, double-faced cotton elegantly draped will add into the elemental nature.
