NetTutor® Online Paper Review Allows Students to Request Writing Help

Link-Systems International, Inc. (LSI) developed a new, improved paper center submission form for students submitting essays to the company's online tutoring service, NetTutor®.

Tampa, FL, September 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In keeping with its dedication to serving students, Link-Systems International, Inc. (LSI) developed a new, improved paper center submission form for students submitting essays to the company's online tutoring service, NetTutor®.

The NetTutor® Online Tutoring Service, serving students since 1997, provides both synchronous and asynchronous online tutoring to thousands of students every year, in subjects ranging from mathematics to English composition. The paper center, one of the most popular services among students, allows students to upload essays to be reviewed by one of LSI's English composition experts.

When a student uploads a paper, he or she fills out a feedback sheet that indicates the two desired areas of feedback and gives the tutor information about the assignment.

"I can see important information about the student, such as if the student is an ESL student, or whether or not the student has taken English Composition 101," says Amy Anthony, a lead English tutor and the tutoring department program coordinator. "This information determines the approach a tutor takes in reviewing the paper."

Now, there is a formal way for the student to indicate the assignment's required format, such as APA or MLA, or the paper's version.

"Now we know if the essay is a first draft or a final," says Anthony. "We could usually tell upon reading the paper, but now we can be certain. We can provide the most individualized tutoring possible."

The new paper submission form is even customizable, points out Dr. David Kephart, the director of online tutoring for LSI.

"None of our competitors offer this," says Dr. Kephart, an employee at LSI for ten years. "We are always improving our technology and our service, because we are dedicated to the development of student service."
