Gary Hubbell Consulting Assists Briar Cliff University in Designing Future

Milwaukee, WI, September 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Gary Hubbell Consulting has been retained by Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, Iowa, to design and facilitate the university’s strategic planning process.

Briar Cliff University is a Catholic institution with an enrollment of more than 1,100 students from 26 states. Students are educated in the Franciscan tradition of excellence in the liberal arts and career preparation in an environment of care and compassion. As BCU is coming to the close of the 2005-2010 strategic plan, BCU leaders now seek to chart their course for the next phase of service.

Gary Hubbell Consulting will work with Briar Cliff President Beverly A. Wharton and a planning team to design and facilitate an iterative process to imagine a robust future for the university and to determine the best paths to pursue that future. The team anticipates completion and adoption of the new strategic plan in July 2010.

“We are pleased to be working with Gary Hubbell Consulting,” said President Wharton. “We are confident in Hubbell’s planning experience and innovative approach. We look forward to an energizing process and partnership."

In addition to consulting, Hubbell is an active author, speaker and researcher. Annually, he convenes a small gathering of social sector leaders in GHC Conversations. The published result of Conversation 2009, entitled In Search of New Meaning: Philanthropy, Community, and Society, is available through On The Cusp Publishing (www.OnTheCuspPublishing.com).
