Owners, Breeders and Dogs Against Breed Discrimination to Hold Raffle with International Weight Pull Association in Nine Mile Falls, WA

Owners, Breeders and Dogs Against Breed Discrimination and the International Weight Pull association are both non-profit organizations which promote responsible dog ownership. They are working together to promote the working heritage of all dogs. The IWPA also promotes a program to keep your dog in good physical condition with a constructive outlet for canine competition.

Spokane, WA, September 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Attention all dog owners and pet lovers:

The International Weight Pull Association will be holding a competitive canine weight pull for all breeds sponsored by Tundrabou Kennels. Citizens are invited to come watch the fun and learn about competitive canine sports or to compete for the first time. All breeds and sexes are welcome. Dogs must be between ages 12 months and 12 years. Even the kids can participate in this fun and safe canine event.

This weight pull will run in conjunction with a raffle to benefit Owners, Breeders and Dogs Against Breed Discrimination. This raffle will be available to all in attendance and will offer great prizes for all dog lovers. Prizes such as collars, treats, supplements, dog food and toys will be available to win. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Owners, Breeders and Dogs Against Breed Discrimination, a non-profit entity in Washington State, whose purpose is to educate people about Breed Specific Legislation and Responsible Dog Ownership. Come out to find out more and get some useful information to help your canine companion be a good neighbor.

The "She Said One More Time" weight pull will begin on Saturday September 19th at 11am. It will continue on Sunday September 20th at 10am. Located in beautiful Nine Mile Falls, Washington at 6497 Stone Lodge Road. There will be a $15 fee for the first dog entered by each owner and a $10 fee for each additional dog. Prizes awarded will include ribbons and there will be a potluck BBQ following the pull. For those wanting to partake in the potluck, please bring your own meat.

This is a chance for people to engage in a safe sport with their dog and for the public to come enjoy the day and watch something they may not normally see. Owners, Breeders and Dogs Against Breed Discrimination and Tundrabou Kennels welcome all press, newcomers and spectators.
