Informatics, Inc Launches a Successful Website for One of the Nation’s Preeminent Czech and Slovak Historical Institutions

The National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library worked with Informatics, Inc on generating a new look and feel and Content Management System for their website.

Cedar Rapids, IA, September 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Czech and Slovak Museum and Library (http://www.ncsml.org) hired Informatics, Inc to create a new website with a stronger professional aesthetic. On August, 19, 2009 the redesigned website launched with new features, such as a rotating homepage photo to generate interest in upcoming events and exhibits, a site-wide search for determined visitors, easy-to-use navigation, and social networking and bookmarking functionalities.

Administrators can easily update content, photos, files, events, news, FAQ, Exhibitions and Collections using the database-driven Content Management System that does not require any programming expertise.

In 2008 the museum had to close due to the tragic Iowa floods. The site operates as a central hub for the now fragmented museum locations. News of exhibits and post-flood rebuilding will be one of the sites core competencies.
