Cedar Rapids, IA, September 16, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- The previous Foundation 2 website was several years old and outdated. The organization wanted a fresh look and feel. Their desire was to connect with a younger audience who may potentially be in need of their services while also providing information to community members who may want to donate, volunteer time, or learn of other services.
Informatics responded to these concerns by generating a design that is aesthetically contemporary yet simple to comprehend. The addition of social networking links as well as the ability to post content on social networking sites is one example of this. Additionally, easy-to-use navigation, rotating homepage images, and a site wide search propagate these themes throughout the website.
F2 can update content, photos, files, events, a news section, multiple a blogs, testimonials and FAQs using Informatics database-driven Content Management System that does not require any programming expertise. Furthermore, Foundation 2 has the ability to send out customized, segmented e-newsletters, which has convenient signup options linked throughout the site.
Informatics also designed and developed a private, password-protected intranet that allows registered staff members to log in using their personal password and username. Upon successfully logging in, they have instant access to important forms, links, photos and files. The content management system will allow authorized Foundation 2 administrators to add, update or delete content as necessary.
