Doing Justis to BIALL

London, United Kingdom, September 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Justis Publishing, the online law reports specialist, sponsored a lavish party in celebration of the first 40 years of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL).

It took place last Friday at Delfina in central London, the party’s theme being the 1960s, in honour of the decade in which the organization was founded.

Over 100 librarians from across the UK and Ireland attended the bash, many of them in 60s-inspired fancy dress, which complemented live music from the Zoots – at one stage fronted by Justis’s Sales and Marketing Director, Jonathan Daymond – and the entertainment provided by 14 Justis staffers.

But at its heart, the event paid tribute to the members themselves, who have grown BIALL from a small informal group into a world-renowned organisation. A handful of librarians from the early days were able to attend, as noted by BIALL president Daniella King, who also praised Justis’s "longstanding friendship with BIALL." She added: "They have generously sponsored the newsletter for at least 15 years and regularly attend our conferences.” This underpins the company’s commitment to provide reliable, flexible information service to the legal community."
