Fayetteville, NC, September 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Divinity Girlz Ministries announces the launch of a new website,(www.divinitygirlz.org) and community outreach focusing on girls age 9-19.

Women today are influenced largely by the magazines, television shows, and by other types of negative media. Divinity Girlz wants to provide a positive experience showing that compromise doesn't need to be a part of that experience. Divinity Girlz wants to enable girls to love themselves, help build increase self-esteem, and to serve the community.

Divinity Girlz has been contacted by students who are interested in becoming a model, parents who want to know more about the program, and those who want to help make a difference in the community. Because of this, Divinity Girlz has created a Free model workshop. The Free workshop was created to give information on the field of modeling, boost self-confidence, promote a positive self-image, and show students how to be a positive role model in the community.

Each Free 12 week workshop will run for two hours each week. The first hour of class will be devoted to educating students on social etiquette, manners, public speaking, etc. These are important life skills that will allow the student to be successful no matter what they choose to do. The second hour of class will be devoted to modeling skills and technique development.

Each student will participate in a fashion show hosted by a community organization, charity, group, or by Divinity Girlz. The funds raised from the fashion shows will benefit the individual groups hosting the show, as well as, Divinity Girlz. This will allow Divinity Girlz to continue to run the Free workshops and other community based programs for girls age 9-19.

Each student will also participate in a photo shoot, giving them experience in front of the camera. Students will be able to choose two photos from the shoot to add to their portfolio. Each student is also required to participate in two hours of community service to a community outreach partner. Students will have a unique and fun experience while learning about the world of modeling.

All or upcoming events are listed on the website and will be updated every month.
