Fashion on a Shoestring – Presented by the Hope Hospice Thrift Shop and Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Comal County

Friday, October 16, 12 – 1 pm: This seminar is for everyone who has begrudgingly forked over their well-earned money for an outfit she knew she’d only wear once. It’s for everyone who needed to expand their wardrobe and couldn’t afford all the pieces she needed. It’s for everyone who has ever looked in her closet and been bored with what she’s seen.

Event includes a live fashion show, a brief workshop on repurposing clothing items and a presentation on how to find more success at thrift store shopping. Gift bags available to the first 100 registered guests and door prizes to be given throughout the presentation. The class is free, and an optional lunch will be available for $6. To reserve your classroom seat and/or lunch, call Elma at the McKenna Center – (830) 606-9527.
