The company used their framework to create an iPhone application for Baltimore-based 600block, and is currently working on a college campus application for the University of Maryland’s Baltimore County campus. They are also exploring other extensions such as augmented reality and real-time search for mobile devices. With over 3 billion people using mobile devices worldwide, it is clear that LBS, marketing and advertising is the next hottest trend.
