Debt Free League Sponsors Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Race

The joint venture also seeks to identify how the debt settlement debt management procedure excels over bankruptcy, consolidation, and credit counseling.

San Diego, CA, September 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Debt Free League is sponsoring runner Jessica Davis who will be in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Marathon race. The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is “to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”

Since 1949, the non-profit organization has invested more than $550 million in leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research. Fundraising has been an integral part in their innovative blood cancer research to find a cure for all cancers.

This year’s race is being held on October 2008 in San Francisco, California. The fund raising event has grown into the world's largest endurance sports training program. It will include more than 30,000 runners, walkers, cyclists and triathletes. All of the athletes will participate in the world's major marathons, triathlons and century rides this year on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Jessica and her team have been arduously training running as much as 20 miles in preparation for the 26.2 mile run. Being a proud sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Marathon race, Debt Free League will help aid research for treatments such as chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation.

In addition to research support, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers support groups, financial aid, information and advocacy programs for patients and their families.
