)-- Tobi Bowen, development and marketing director for Resources for Seniors, Inc., a service provider for seniors and the disabled, has announced that Whitney Wilkerson, principal and creative director for Stop Studios, a communication design and event management services provider, has been named chair of the Speaking For Women’s Health Conference Decor Committee. The daylong conference will be held December 9 at the North Raleigh Hilton from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include health screenings, a breakfast, luncheon, keynote speakers and sponsor booths.
“The health conference is a great chance for women to acquire new information regarding their fitness and well-being,” said Wilkerson. “I am excited to be involved because I value my own fitness, and I hope to help this organization emphasize the importance of living healthy lives for other women.”

Whitney Wilkerson is Principal and Creative Director for Stop Studios, a communication design and event management services firm. Wilkerson oversees the asthetic and strategic direction of all of the group’s projects. Wilkerson currently serves on the Young Alumni Board at George School in Newtown, PA. Prior to founding Stop Studios, Wilkerson worked as Events Manager at Condé Nast Publications, as well as in the marketing department of the Italian fashion house, Giorgio Armani. Whitney has worked as a Professor of Photography and Artist in Residence at Casa de Los Tres Mundos in Granada, Nicaragua, and has traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
