Oceanside, NY, September 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday Oct. 4th, 2009 Phil Weiss will auction off 700 lots of Popular Cultural Artifacts including Rock and Roll Memorabilia, Disneyana, Sports, Advertising, Comics, Peter Max and Concert Posters.

Pop Culture highlights include a Collection of mint condition psychedelic Peter Max Head Shop Posters from 1967, a collection of 1940's Cereal Box Store Displays, Andy Warhol’s “Index Book” along with Aspen #1 and “Fab,” an invitation to a 1986 Keith Haring event printed on a pair of shorts, a collection of autographs of movie and TV stars of the 1960s, a collection of National Lampoon “Lemmings” concert posters and programs, a series of proofs and mock-ups for National Lampoon Magazine, Peter Lorre and Vincent Price Lobby Cards and Exploitation Manual, Marlene Dietrich “Angel” exploitation manual, a Woodstock concert poster, a Vaughn Bode “Centaurette Poster, and an original 1st printing of the San Francisco “Be-In” event poster.

Gallery Pre-views for all their auctions begin Wednesday before the sale, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm each day, and 8:30 am to 10:00 am the day of the sale.
