ParentYourParents.com ~ Helping You Help Your Parents.

Las Vegas, NV, September 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With the first baby boomer turning 65 last year, it’s clear the senior population is going to explode over the next 20 years. ParentYourParents.com is an online resource helping seniors and adult children of aging parent’s transition into and plan for the future.

ParentYourParents.com helps people navigate through the later stages of life with dignity and purpose by providing information: a provider’s directory of senior related businesses and services, planning tools, articles, a senior calendar of events, links to assistance programs, helpful state and government links, and much more.

Karen Frye, CFO and founding partner, says, “It is amazing how much the site has grown and evolved over the past year! We are very excited about the changes we have recently implemented.” Frye continues, “If visitors have not been to our site in the last month or so, they will be pleasantly surprised with the upgrades we have added.”

Frye is referring to the “sort by state” feature and the “service organizations” tab. Visitors are prompted to select a state in which they can research providers, calendar events and service organizations in a particular state. “Prior to this upgrade visitors may not have realized we have information and providers in all 50 states.” says Frye.

When visitors log onto ParentYourParents.com they have the ability to research elder care information across the country. Families don’t necessarily live in the same city or state. This website gives visitors the ability to search anywhere in the country for senior services, information and providers, regardless of where they reside.

Amber Sandhoff, CEO and founding partner, adds, “Another new addition is our blog. Visitors are encouraged to post entries on the blog and share their experiences or offer suggestions to others who may be seeking help.”

The most unique new feature is the electronic “contact me” form. This allows visitors to request specific information directly from any of the providers on the website.

Sandhoff concludes, “We are thrilled to be celebrating our first anniversary. We are proud of the recent additions to our website, and excited with the direction we are headed. We encourage visitors to log onto ParentYourParents.com today and let us know what they think.”
