Citrus Heights, CA, September 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- For the third year in a row, Fright Planet “World of Fear” will be Sacramento’s biggest haunted house. This year, the Halloween event that has become a tradition with families, couples, and fear goers alike is getting the addition of a fourth haunted attraction. And to top that off, all four attractions have been built and designed from the ground up for the 2009 Halloween season.

To stay “economic-times” friendly, ticket prices have stayed the same as last year, but the haunts have become bigger and better. “We want to add value to our show. Our guests have made Fright Planet their Halloween destination. They no longer need to visit one haunted house here, and another one there. We give them everything under one roof!” says Creative Director Carlos Schollar.

In 2008, Fright Planet entertained tens of thousands of people and is expected to scare thousands more in 2009. Doors open on October 9th and the terror continues through November 1st.

Unlike all the other haunted houses, Fright Planet immerses its guests into a completely new world. “We want to get you away from reality. Away from what makes you comfortable. We do this with tons of details at every level.” adds Schollar. Fright Planet uses the latest scare tactics and animatronics, but Schollar says the best scare always come from the actors. Fright Planet will use over 100 actors this year, all who have either a theater background or a passion to scare.

The themes this year for the haunted houses include Pennville Lunatic Asylum, Podunk Hill: A Hillbilly Reunion; Boondock Bayou in 4-D; and Blackout. Every phobia is certainly covered and everyone is sure to get the fright of their life.
