Distinguished local Doctor volunteers his time with Wellness Professionals for Health to give a health presentation on Stress at a local restaurant.

Doctor John V. Dawidowicz, DC of Skylyn Wellness Center, announced he is volunteering his time again for Wellness Professionals for Health. He will be giving a health presentation on ‘Stress: Causes and Cures.’ The Dinner will be held at the Hibachi Buffet & Grill at 2255 East Main Street in Spartanburg, SC on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 6:00 PM. “Stress causes the body to show seven major indicators or signs,” said Dr. Dawidowicz. “Headaches / Migraines, Fatigue, Pain / Tension / Numbness, Insomnia / Sleep Problems are the top four.” “Irritability / Moodiness, Digestive Problems, and Sinus Problems / Allergies are the other three,” he said. “People need this information about the seven major symptoms and how stress affects their lives,” said Dr. Dawidowicz.

About Doctor John V. Dawidowicz, DC:
Dr. John V. Dawidowicz, DC received his Undergraduate Degree from Trenton State College in Trenton, NJ. He completed studies in Massage Therapy at the Center for Therapeutic Massage. He continued his education at Sherman Chiropractic College, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Dawidowicz completed courses in current chiropractic analysis and adjusting techniques. He also studied human and spinal anatomies, x-ray technology, public health and nutrition. While at Sherman, he was co-founder and served as vice president of the Technique Club.

Professionally Dr. Dawidowicz is a member of the following Associations: The South Carolina Chiropractic Association, The American Academy of Spine Physicians and The American Chiropractic Association. He is a National Board Certified Chiropractic Physician. He is a board member of the Friends of the Guardian ad Litem program for Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. He also serves as Vice President for Wellness Professionals for Health.

Dr. Dawidowicz has been in private practice since 2000. He volunteers his time to companies, groups, clubs and organizations that want to help educate the public about health concerns. Lives are affected through programs like Dinner with the Doctor, Lunch and Learn, C.O.W Week and others.
