The Washington Network, Inc. Adds Michael Lee Davis as Senior Telephony Engineer

Experienced telecom pro excels in Computer Telephony Integration, customer service

Alexandria, VA, September 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Washington Network, Inc., a provider of computer networks and telephone systems for Washington, DC Metro-area businesses and associations, today announced the appointment of Michael Lee Davis as Senior Telephony Engineer. Mr. Davis has 15 years of experience designing and implementing advanced telecom solutions.

“Michael Lee Davis is a great addition to our service-oriented team,” said Rick Endres, president of The Washington Network. “He’s a natural problem solver who goes out of his way to explain his very technical work in everyday language. It’s very comforting to clients.

“Like all of us at The Washington Network, he believes that listening well to clients’ concerns and priorities is one of the biggest requirements for a technology provider, if you want to deliver real value. We know our clients are going to appreciate the way he strives to understand their needs.”

Mr. Davis will design and implement telecom systems that integrate with existing IT infrastructure. These 4th-generation phone systems will combine the best of premised-based systems, hosted VoIP systems and traditional land lines – delivering extreme reliability, advanced capabilities, ease of use and great value.

Mr. Davis hopes to have a large role in post-sales support. “Nothing is more gratifying than helping a client get the most value out of their system,” he said. “It’s my job to understand telephony as well as the computer world, and use them both to the client’s advantage. The technology continually grows and changes. It forces you to grow and change with it. There are constantly new capabilities that solve real client business needs. That’s why the business is so much fun.”

Mr. Davis was most recently Director of Voice Operations at Lore Systems of Chevy Chase, MD. Previously, he was a contact center analyst servicing the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for Unisys Corporation, and a senior programmer and analyst for Systems Integration of Landover, MD.

“This is an exciting time to join The Washington Network,” Mr. Davis said. “Clients need more value, and they need ways to make their people more effective. That’s what The Washington Network provides.”
