EQUELLA’s North American Presence Increases with Key Appointments

Cambridge, MA, September 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Learning Edge North America today announced the appointment of key personnel to further support the continual growth of EQUELLA within North America.

The appointments are highlighted by the promotion of Joe Barrow to the role of VP of Global Sales across The Learning Edge group of companies, incorporating The Learning Edge North America, The Learning Edge International and The Learning Edge Europe.

“Joe’s 20 years experience in the higher education field will help us to continue to grow our market in North America, and on a global basis will assist to drive growth in the EMEA and Australasian regions. Joe will also focus heavily on strengthening our global partnership network,” said Bob Cupitt, Chief Executive Officer, The Learning Edge group of companies.

Joe Barrow is a well-respected sales leader with expertise in providing solutions for both the publishing industry and enterprise software across the higher education space for hundreds of clients. Joe’s career spans nearly 20 years of sales and sales management experience working with faculty and senior level campus administrators at both the individual campus and state-wide levels.

Other key appointments for The Learning Edge North America include Steve Brunner as a Senior Consultant and Mark Jeffiers as the Client Support Manager for the North American territory.

Steve Brunner is an accomplished eLearning professional with over ten years experience leading K-12 and Higher Education institutions in the strategic implementation, administration and instructional use of virtual learning environments. Steve joins the team following 7 years with ANGEL Learning in a variety of consulting, pre-sales, and training roles.

Mark Jeffiers joins their team as the Client Support Manager for North America. Mark brings EQUELLA experience to the job, having been the EQUELLA system administrator for a state-wide implementation of EQUELLA. He has a varied background, with a variety of technologies and roles.
