“The Medical Insurance and Coding program may be a good option for people who are detail-oriented and are interested in training for a career in health care that doesn’t involve blood or needles,” said Shirley McCray, Remington College-Colorado Springs Campus President.
Careers as a medical coder or insurance coder are among the few jobs in the health care field with little direct patient contact.
In addition to the Medical Insurance and Coding Program, Remington College-Colorado Springs Campus also offers an associate’s and bachelor’s degree program in Criminal Justice and diploma programs in Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician.
