PaceControls Continues Hiring, Partnering Growth

Philadelphia, PA, October 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PaceControls today announced several recent staff additions, as it builds staff and relationships nationally and internationally.

Robert Shaw has joined PaceControls as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Partnering. Mr. Shaw is a senior HVAC industry executive with a distinguished career spanning over twenty years. His business achievements have included doubling profitable revenues of three diverse companies, each in less than three years. As the National Account Leader for The Trane Company, Mr. Shaw led a 15-person team for this $8 billion multinational OEM of indoor comfort systems and facility solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial building needs. He also served as a Vertical Market Director, where he developed and led Trane’s successful initiative to the Retail and Restaurant segments. As Strategic Initiatives Director for Delta-T Corporation, he led the development of several programs and initiatives that represented the bulk of its revenue growth during the period.

Melissa Page has been hired to serve as PaceControls’ Administrative Director. In this role, she will be responsible for the company’s administration, compliance, and grants operations. Ms. Page brings over 9 years of grant writing and administration experience, and also strong expertise in financial and program management.

Also joining Mr. Shaw and Ms. Page is Shahram (Sam) Esmaili, who joins PaceControls as Project Engineer, involved with both project and product development activities. Mr. Esmaili comes from his current position from the Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory, where he conducted research and developed software and hardware systems. Esmaili brings substantial experience in robotics and in microcontroller design and programming.

“We’re extremely pleased that Bob, Melissa, and Sam have joined our team,” said Tom Mills, President of PaceControls. “These are all highly qualified, motivated people who will help us drive our growth through the end of this year, and into the future. Even with so much opportunity in the Northeast -- and in Pennsylvania in particular, with customer energy efficiency incentives phasing in January 2010 -- we will continue our hiring across the country, coupling this with our international expansion. We look forward to making more such announcements in the near future.”
