Discovered Money Fundraiser to Benefit Orangewood Children’s Home
Discovered Money fundraiser will allow us to more effectively contact and research non-profits and schools that have Unclaimed Property
Lake Forest, CA, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Discovered Money is excited to announce a donation to Orange Children’s Home in the amount of 20 tickets to the Anaheim Ducks season opener on Saturday, October 3. These tickets were purchased and contributed by Irvine-based Proaxis Corporation, a battery retailer specializing in laptop and iPod batteries and accessories.
Discovered Money’s fundraiser was designed to primarily benefit its outreach to the community, where the organization volunteers to help nonprofits and schools find their Unclaimed Property. However, when Discovered Money approached Proaxis about donating tickets to Orangewood Children’s Home, Proaxis was very supportive.

Discovered Money is pleased to announce its first fundraiser: selling Anaheim Ducks tickets at Yogi’s Grill in Lake Forest (22331 El Toro Rd) on Thursday, October 15 between 4-6pm (Yogi’s will donate 15% of food sales to Discovered Money):
· Anaheim Ducks tickets are $35 vs. Pittsburgh (11/3/09) / $30 vs. Ottowa (12/6/09) – tickets are located in sections 408/409/415/430 starting between rows H-K (Face Value is $43/ticket)
· 10% OFF entire food bill if you print and bring flier from our website (www.discoveredmoney.org)
· Free Entry into Zamboni ride raffles for each game with Ducks ticket purchase

Located in the city of Orange, California, the Home is Orange County's only emergency shelter for neglected and sexually, physically or emotionally abused children. The Home provides refuge each year for about 3200 children who have been removed from their caretakers by police officers or child protective services workers and placed into protective custody.
The Home is comprised of hacienda-style cottages that house children and teens ranging in age from just days old to age 18. Currently the average stay is 22 days. The Home is equipped to hold over 200 children.
The Home and its volunteers give the children, toddlers and teens a loving environment for periods ranging from a few days to several weeks or months while Juvenile Court decisions are made about their future and welfare. On completion of processing, the children are placed into foster care or in the care of relatives.
