ILDEX is Optimistic About Philippines Debut, Banking on the Country’s Bright Prospects

ILDEX and world leading technology companies are optimistic about the debut of ILDEX Pavilion in the Philippines - which will be launched together with AgriLink 2009, citing the bright prospects of the Philippine’s livestock, dairy, meat-processing, and aquaculture industries. Coming next is ILDEX Vietnam 2010 – March 25-27, 2010 in HCMC, Vietnam.

Bangkok, Thailand, October 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ILDEX has brought a group of international companies to showcase their technology and business solutions at ILDEX Pavilion in the Philippines at AgriLink 2009 during October 8-10, 2009 at World Trade Center Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is the debut of the ILDEX series in the Philippines. Another first is the introduction of an ILDEX Pavilion - - the international technology pavilion with a big-show concept. “We are excited about the Philippines debut; so are the international exhibitors,” said Mr. Suhbpong Smithtun, International Project Manager, N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd., a.k.a. ‘NEO’ the organizer of ILDEX Series or the International Livestock, Dairy, Meat-Processing, and Aquaculture Exposition in Vietnam, India, China, and the Philippines.

“Although this is our first time in the Philippines, and the first time for our ‘ILDEX Pavilion’ concept, we are confident that the outcome will be satisfactory for all parties involved. International exhibitors who are optimistic about the prospects for the Philippines’ livestock industry will experience genuine demand for technology and business solutions to improve the productivity and competitive advantages for trade visitors. Another benefit is that visitors will have direct access to international technology that should provide solutions for their businesses right here at ILDEX Pavilion,” he said.

In addition to the new technology showcase, a ‘meet and match session’ will be another interesting feature at ILDEX Pavilion. “Business Matching is our key element to ensure the success of our exhibitors’ participation. It is a trademark of ILDEX series. Let me proclaim that we have numbers of confirmed trade visitors from Nigeria, Vietnam, China, Korea, and Thailand who will visit the Pavilion during the 3-day event.”

After the ILDEX Pavilion in the Philippines, coming next is ILDEX Vietnam 2010, which will take place on March 25-27, 2010 at the New Saigon Convention and Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. “Vietnam is another interesting market in ASEAN. It has demonstrated impressive growth, driven by rising domestic consumption and the country’s development to become a new regional meat exporter. This yields an even more positive impact on ILDEX Vietnam 2010. We are adding another 1,000 square meters exhibit space to accommodate the growing demand from international exhibitors who want to use ILDEX Vietnam 2010 as their ticket into the Vietnamese market,” the project manager said.

To fulfill its mission in ‘Bringing International Expertise to Satisfy Local Needs,’ “we are also looking into the possibility of launching ILDEX series in other ASEAN countries to satisfy local need for international technology and create links between livestock communities in ASEAN. Ultimately, we want to see ILDEX being the regional networking and marketplace for ASEAN livestock, dairy, meat-processing, and aquaculture industries and international technology leaders. Such linkage will facilitate the flow of technological transfers within the region and therefore greatly benefit the ASEAN industry as a whole,” concluded Mr Smithtun.
