Choyce Peterson Goes the Extra Mile for Visiting Nurses

Stamford, CT, November 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Choyce Peterson, Inc. (www.choycepeterson.com), a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm, announced that its client, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern CT (VNHC), has moved into new headquarters after an extensive year-long search in the Stamford area.

VNHC, a non-profit organization, selected a 13,000-square-foot headquarters at Soundview Plaza at 1266 East Main Street. Its location near I-95 is essential because most of VNHC’s staff of 160 are healthcare providers and must check in each day to receive their assignments. The company achieved substantial savings by locking in current lease rates, reducing its square-footage needs and consolidating from two floors to one. A long-term lease was signed with the building owners, Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Jeff Williams and Steve Lash, Vice Presidents of Choyce Peterson, handled the search and negotiations.

Mr. Williams said, “We scoured the entire Stamford market, several times, to find an ideal spot for VNHC, and it was worth it to see them so happy with the final result. Their long term commitment testifies to their pleasure, and we were glad to assist such a worthy group.”

Sandra Bardsley, Executive Director of VNHC, said, “We are very excited about our new offices. Choyce Peterson was extremely patient and remained committed to working with us from the beginning through construction and our move.”

In addition to its central location, the building offers many amenities including ample parking, conference facilities, a cafeteria, a fitness center, a manned security desk, and an on-site building engineer. Choyce Peterson showed VNHC 20 possible locations before the organization selected its new site.

Steve Baker and Brian Scruton of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building’s owner, Mack-Cali Realty Corp. Choyce Peterson partnered with Monique Delerme of Corporate Design, LLC for architectural services.
