VertaSource Uses Dynamic Technology to Create New Era Concept 59FIFTY Contest

Buffalo, NY, October 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Continuing the partnership with New Era Cap Co., VertaSource worked with the New Era Marketing team to create an online presence for fans to create their own style of the 59FIFTY caps for a chance to win prizes. The contest launched on Monday, August 3, 2009 with all eligible entries submitted by November 3, 2009.

To create the contest VertaSource (www.vertasource.com) used flash and advanced styling to create an online application allowing the user to design the caps. The user has the option to create their design online using the online software design tool (www.concept59fifty.com) or choosing to work offline by downloading the design template in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.

To date the website has generated over one million page views and averaging 3,000 unique visitors a day. Currently there are over 10,000 user submitted entries and more coming in day to day. User submitted designs will be voted on by fans and by a panel of judges with the grand prize winner receiving their winning design sold in New Era Retail Stores and online. They will also receive 10 pieces of headwear with the winning design and a $1,000 New Era gift card.
