Society of Education Consultants Reports 20% Rise in Membership, Appoints Marketing Officer to Respond to Increased Publicity

The Society of Education Consultants has reported a 20% rise in membership since autumn 2008, necessitating the appointment of a marketing officer.

Whitstable, United Kingdom, October 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Society of Education Consultants (SEC) announces a twenty percent rise in membership since autumn 2008 and the appointment of a dedicated marketing officer to respond to the increased media interest in the SEC over recent months. The increase in membership reflects the growth of the education consultancy industry, with many turning to a career as education consultants in response to the economic downturn. Adam Caller, the newly appointed Marketing Officer for the SEC and Senior Partner of Tutors International said "We are delighted to see such a significant rise in membership over the past year. It's never been a better time to be a member of the SEC and the growing membership proves that. Amongst the benefits of being a member are a preferential rate of professional indemnity insurance and also a weekly Exploratorium that keeps all of our members fully informed about any significant news in the industry. It contains key appointments in the industry, details of exhibitions and conferences, and also information regarding current government bids and tenders. The latter is particularly popular, as it enables members to put together proposals as a group, providing opportunities that they are excluded from as sole consultants."

When asked why he was appointed as Marketing Officer for the SEC, Adam replied; "I have extensive experience of dealing with press coverage in my role as Senior Partner of Tutors International, a company that has been featured in national newspapers and has a great deal of online press coverage. I'm keen to bring that experience to the SEC committee as the interest in the SEC is growing with the membership numbers. Having been a member of the SEC for some time, I'm keen to introduce the society to other education consultants so that they may benefit too."
