Understanding and Managing ADHD in Children and Adolescents

New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome presents this no-cost webinar on Oct. 28th

Somerville, NJ, October 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Richard Zakreski, Ph.D. will present “Understanding and Managing ADHD in Children and Adolescents” as part of the Wednesday Webinar series on October 28 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Eastern.

Often associated disorders are more difficult for a child with Tourette Syndrome(TS) than the tics themselves. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder affects 50-60% of children diagnosed with TS. This is a must-see presentation for parents and teachers. This Webinar will address the symptoms, causes and impact of ADHD on the lives of children and adolescents at home, at school and with their peers. Effective treatments- both environmental and pharmacological will also be discussed.

Dr. Richard Zakreski has been practicing for 25 years and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental and neurochemical disorders, including ADHD, TS, Anxiety/OCD and Asperger Syndrome. Dr. Zakreski is married to Dr. Julie Zakreski, a pediatric psychologist, whose practice is in Red Bank, NJ. They are the parents of three college graduates, all of whom were psychology majors.
