iDTRONIC’s Mobile Data Collector I-Collect Supports Mobile Solutions via Bluetooth Connection with Common PDAs

iDTRONIC, a leading supplier of RFID Hardware products, today introduced two new Mobile Bluetooth Readers I-Collect LF & HF for multi-tag transponder reading & writing.

Ludwigshafen, Germany, October 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The LF version of the Mobile Bluetooth Reader I-Collect supports all EM 4102, 4105, 4550, NXP Hitag 1/2/S FDXB transponders. The HF model of the Mobile Bluetooth Reader I-Collect is able to read all ISO14443 & ISO15693 transponders including the Mifare family & NXP I-code. The USB 2.0 Interface guarantees a fast and reliable data transfer rate.

Thanks to the Bluetooth communication the Mobile Bluetooth Reader “I-Collect” can be a perfect add-on to any Bluetooth device such as PC, PDA or Smart Phone. The tag IDs can be easily transmitted via Bluetooth to a near by PDA. The Reader can also be connected to the PC via a USB 2.0 Interface.

The user interface consists of three buttons, buzzer and LCD screen and is fully programmable. This reader includes rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries and allows to read up to 16000 tag IDs.

iDTRONIC’s Mobile Bluetooth Raeder I-Collect comes with 8 standard applications and has a user-friendly plug & play and auto-connect feature.

The Mobile Bluetooth Reader I-Collect has built in real-time clock for time stamping and comes with the standard accessories belt clip, USB cable and SDK for Microsoft Windows.

Typical applications for this Mobile Bluetooth Reader are access control, inventory management or logistics.
