Siemens AG and Bull SAS Announce Patent License Agreements for Printed Circuit Board Technology

Siemens AG, a global leader in electrical engineering and electronics, today announced that they have entered into a series of patent license agreements with Bull SAS, experts in open, flexible and secure information systems and one of Europe's leading players in the IT industry.

Munich, Germany, October 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Siemens has agreed to allow Bull to use its EP 0983617 B1 European Patent in the development, manufacture and sale of Bull’s next generation of high frequency computing circuitry on printed circuit boards. Under the agreement, Bull receives a license for Siemens’ European patent EP 0983617B1 for the transmission of high frequency communication signals.

Siemens AG has been active in production and licensing of high-frequency technology for many years in the fields of advanced communications. Bull SAS joins a growing number of companies licensing the Siemens’ EP 0983617 B1 European patent for implementation in printed circuit boards.
