Free 5-Part Course on Slimming Body Wraps Released

A 5-part course on Body Wraps has been introduced by Lisa Summers, author of "The Complete Home Body Wrap Guide." The course is currently being offered at no charge at her blog.

Colton, CA, October 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lisa Summers, author of "The Complete Home Body Wrap Guide" has announced an offering for a free 5-part course on body wraps. The course is comprehensive and covers the primary questions people ask about body wraps. Areas covered include the secrets of herbal body wraps for body detox; home body wraps explained, their uses and benefits; Why body wraps can actually be great for skin conditioning; Why users become so enamored of and attached to home body wraps; slimming body wrap benefits as well as additional topics.

According to Ms. Summers, the free course is meant to answer some of the many questions she receives with regard to body wraps. This way, she says, prior to purchasing her e'book consumers can be more informed prior to purchasing a book on formulating body wraps, obtaining body wrap kits or even going to a spa or salon. She says that the more knowledge able a person with regard top body wraps, their different purposes and ingredients will enable them to create body wraps specially formulated to their needs.

When questioned further, Ms. Summers said that the issues tackled in the free course will also be expanded upon in future updates as well as on her blog. She said many of the questions she will be addressing concern specific types of wraps, their applications and ingredients. She said one of the questions she receives most often concerns Slimming Body Wraps, often called inch-loss body wraps. These wraps are misunderstood by many to mean weight loss, which is generally incorrect. She says that her research and experimentation has shown definite inch loss and body detoxification but that, in her opinion, they should be combined with a healthy weight-loss program if shedding pounds is the ultimate goal.

Ms. Summers explained that inch loss skin rejuvenation and skin tone are all related to the use of detoxifying agents used in conjunction with clays, herbs, oils, minerals and moisturizers to achieve the desired effect. She gave an example of a wrap using a mixture of clay (which is often used in facial treatments) combined with essential oils to add rejuvenating agents to the skin, dead sea salts to add minerals and an all-natural moisturizing agent. With this mixture, she says, one can select a clay for dry or oily skin, an herb for moisturizing or healing, an oil for moisturizing, healing or detoxification topped off with a good moisturizer. She says this level of customization is easily achieved at home and also claims that few spas, salons or kits can match the results one can achieve by using the correct ingredients for one's skin or body conditions.
