MediaMiser Works to Help Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario

Ottawa, Canada, September 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- MediaMiser Ltd. – Canada’s leading provider of media analysis solutions – is making an ongoing, in-kind contribution of its services to the Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario.

“As parents we can appreciate how hard it is when a child is stricken with a life-threatening illness,” says Chris Morrison, vice-president of client services. “We feel that the Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario makes a difference in the lives of sick kids, and we are happy for this opportunity to help the organization.”

The Foundation grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. Previous wishes granted have included a trip to Disney World, and bringing a loyal Ottawa Senators fan from Texas to Ottawa for a Senators game.

The Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario runs regular publicity campaigns to create awareness of its cause and generate contributions. Based on media coverage of these campaigns, MediaMiser will provide the Foundation with regular media analysis reports through its industry-leading software solution – MediaMiser Enterprise – to demonstrate what’s working well, and where there is room for improvement.

Mike Wlotzki, executive director of the Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario, says with one full-time and two part-time employees, conducting manual media analysis is not a realistic option.

“We’re happy that we have MediaMiser’s contribution to help grant children’s wishes,” says Wlotzki. “The services it provides will help us develop strategies to get our name out there and increase donations.”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Canada (www.makeawish.ca) is part of the largest not-for-profit wish granting organization in the world, serving 30 countries with International affiliates on five continents. The volunteers of Make-A-Wish® worldwide have helped make hundreds of thousands of wishes come true. All chapters exist for one purpose: to fulfill the special wishes of children from ages three through 17 who have a life-threatening illness.

MediaMiser Ltd. (www.mediamiser.com) offers media analysis software and consulting services. Since its creation in 2003, it has developed into Canada’s leading provider of media analysis solutions, and attracted clients ranging from blue chip companies to government departments to non-profit organizations.
