BlueSky Mast Expands Portfolio of Portable Video and Surveillance Systems for Military Applications
BlueSky Mast Inc, a manufacturer of one-man portable mast systems, has recently been tasked by the US Military of providing a versatile, ultra-mobile platform for new next generation video and surveillance applications for programs such as BETSS-C (Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Sensors-Combined) and RAID (Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment).
Odessa, FL, October 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The traditional RAID tower stands 107 Feet tall and is equipped with a wide range of electro-optical/infrared sensors and radar that allow it to view and monitor the combat area for insurgent activities. While this tower still remains the central element in the design, smaller target areas and valuable assets still need to be monitored and this is where the BlueSky Mast System comes into play.
