Radio Disney Teen Austin Anderson and Hollywire Get Spooktacular This Halloween

Radio Disney Teen Austin Anderson and Hollywire.com team up this Friday October 30th, for a Spooktacular Sleep Over Event for seriously ill children at The Embassy Suites in Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles, CA, October 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With Halloween just around the corner, it’s no surprise that October always seems to include a long list of costume themed philanthropic events especially in Los Angeles, the entertainment and costume capital of the United States. Adding to this growing list is the Spooktacular Sleep Over evening for kids. Sponsored by Staples Business Advantage, the sleep over is receiving support from participants such as Austin Anderson of Radio Disney fame. Anderson, who also serves as a celebrity blogger for Hollywire.com, is a Star Light Foundation children’s ambassador. As a teen star on the rise, Anderson isn’t afraid to donate some trick or treat time to be a good role model.

The Spooktacular Sleep Over will allow seriously ill children and their families to dress up in costumes and experience the thrill and excitement of Halloween and trick-or-treating. The event will be held on Friday October 30th, 2009 at The Embassy Suites in Los Angeles, California.

Anderson in conjunction with the Star Light Foundation, and Hollywire contributors and staff will decorate a hotel suite, dress up in themed costumes and pass out goodies to the trick ot treaters in support of this great cause. Other organizations and business sponsors of the event have the honor to bring their own creative ‘Halloween Spunk’ to their individual suites too, which will be used by the families for trick-or-treating and sleeping in.

Participants of the all-night-party can also look forward to costume contests, magicians, crafts, games, temporary tattoos, and of course lots of candy, toys and frightening fun.

Striking a cord of unanimous enthusiasm, both Hollywire and Anderson, “feel privileged and excited to be participating in such an important children’s event.” Adds Anderson, “I am hoping to use my talents as a means to provide fun for the families who are coping with pain and fear.”
