Come celebrate the habitats of Cold Spring Harbor at the Cold Spring Harbor Library on November 6, 2009 from 6-8pm. Entertainment provided by Uppercut. All proceeds will go towards the programs at the Cold Spring Harbor Library.

Cold Spring Harbor, NY, October 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Celebrate the Habitats of Cold Spring Harbor at the Cold Spring Harbor Library on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Cold Spring Harbor Library Friends Foundation has issued a special invitation to everyone in love with the beautiful habitats of Cold Spring Harbor from the waterfront to the woodlands. Their natural setting is majestically depicted in a mural for the Storytime Room created by Lilith Jones and donated by Caroline and Arthur Saladino. The night will feature a jazz quartet, Uppercut. They will entertain with jazz standards as well as playing songs such as the greatest hits from Chicago, Blood, Sweat and tears, and other current hits. The group was recently featured at the Harry Chapin Theater in Eisenhower Park for their Fourth of July celebration. A choice selection of food from filet mignon to Greek salad cups will be served, along with excellent wines and a premier bar menu of specialty drinks.

Over $15,000 has been raised in event sponsorships and all proceeds will support the programs of the Cold Spring Harbor Library.
