Eitan Sharir, President of Dynamic Achievement Group, a Leader in Executive Coaching in Vancouver Interviewed by PeopleTalk, BC’s Premier HR Publication

Eitan Sharir, the president and founder of Dynamic Achievement Group, Vancouver, was recently interviewed by PeopleTalk, British Columbia’s premier human resources publication. Sharir shared with PeopleTalk his views on how companies that want to remain viable and productive in the coming years need to radically change.

Vancouver, BC, Canada, November 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Eitan Sharir doesn’t believe in accepting anything less than excellence in people or corporations. As a presenter at the British Columbia HRMA’s Conference 2009, Sharir discussed the need for business people to begin living and working to their fullest capacities. His strong words and dynamic personality caught the attention of PeopleTalk, BC’s premier HR publication, which interviewed the president and founder of Vancouver’s Dynamic Achievement Group.

During the in-depth discussion, Sharir focused attention upon the differences between “horizontal” and “vertical” thinking. As he explains, “Horizontal thinking is rooted in routine… therefore, when we are thinking horizontally, we are not moving up the ladder of higher potential. Unlike horizontal thinking, vertical thinking is vibrant and inventive. In the vertical mindset, we become more accepting, more innovative, and more open to new opportunities and change.”

It is this kind of passion that has led Sharir to take a top seat as one of the most fervent advocates of leading by example. “I wouldn’t preach anything I wasn’t willing to practice,” Sharir states. “If I’m going to tell a group that they need to move from a horizontal to vertical mindset, I’m going to be willing to do so myself.

In speaking about his interview with PeopleTalk, Sharir is pleased that his message will have the opportunity to make an impact on a larger audience. “The longer people remain mired in a horizontal mode, the more likely they are to be molded into that way of thinking. That isn’t conducive to achieving the quantum leap results needed to compete today and tomorrow.”

Gallup research supports Sharir’s assertions, suggesting that nine out of every ten individuals say they are more productive when they are around positive (e.g., “vertical” thinking) people. Organizations that wish to increase their collective creativity, communication, cooperation and collaboration are those who embrace management theories like the ones supported by Sharir.
