Baby Fingers Brings Aboard Tom from the Children’s Museum of the Arts as Kids’ Birthday Party Entertainer

New York, NY, November 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tom from the Children’s Museum of the Arts has recently joined Baby Fingers, adding to the sign language center’s repertoire of birthday party entertainers. Baby Fingers offers low-key therapeutic parties and now the premier baby sign language program in the NYC metro area, offers even more families quality live entertainment to help celebrate a baby shower or a child’s birthday. Included in the party packages are: Music with Mike (can also include puppetry & juggling); Punkey the Clown (full, partial, or no clown make-up; songs in sign and/or magic, clowning, parachute play, balloon animals, face painting); Stories with Lauren (songs and stories with character work); Snuggles—the adorable border collie in a human size fur suit; and the latest addition, Time with Tom (art & music for younger kids, create-a-play or more advanced music & art with older kids).

Lora Heller, founding director of Baby Fingers LLC, and a NYC music therapist, often found herself running all over the city and outer boroughs many weekends to provide birthday party entertainment to her clients and their friends. Having to turn down several requests due to scheduling, she built up her party packages. Tom, the latest addition to the Baby Fingers’ extensive lineup of birthday party entertainers, specializes in art and music. Tom from the Children’s Museum of the Arts is versatile enough to offer younger and older kids a variety of quality, enjoyable and educational activities.

Tom is the director of early childhood programs at the Children’s Museum of the Arts. Heller states, “Families love ‘music time with Tom’ and will definitely enjoy having him to help celebrate their child’s birthday.”
