Singapore, Singapore, November 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dogs Allowed Private Ltd introduces RustiRun, a charity fun run for dogs, their families and all dog lovers. The inaugural run will be held on Sunday, 24 January 2010, at the East Coast Park. Funded partly through sponsorships, this will be the first time an event of this nature and scale is taking place in Singapore. Half the proceeds from the registration fees will be donated to Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD), the adopted charity for RustiRun. ASD was established in 2002 as a non-profit organisation with a mission to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore.

While aiming to increase awareness of, and encourage active pet ownership, Dogs Allowed will also incorporate elements of fun and fitness during RustiRun. There are three run categories for participants with dogs – 1km Fun Paws Run, 3km Intermediate Paws Run, and 5km Doggy Athletes. Participants who are not able to bring their dogs or do not have one are also welcome to join in the 5km Dog Lovers Run. Registration is now open via www.rustirun.com. An early pup special applies for participants who sign up before 1 December 2009.
