Vancouver, Canada, November 12, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Growing environmental and economic concerns require businesses to take a leadership role and practice social responsibility. On Saturday, November 21st at 6:00pm Momentum Fitness will be holding a wine and cheese tasting to promote local Mt Lehman Winery and Mount Pleasant Cheese. Not just a nice evening of wine and cheese with friends, introducing clients to both of these great local businesses will help spread awareness of social responsibility.
Mt Lehman Winery, located in Abbotsford, celebrated their grand opening in June of this year. After 18 years of growing grapes and making wine as a hobby Vern and Charlene Siemens decided to embrace their passion and convert their farm to a full winery. Eight different wines will be tasted at Momentum Fitness' wine and cheese tasting.
Mount Pleasant Cheese, located on the beautifully reconstructed Cambie St, is Vancouver's only gourmet cheese shop that is dedicated to Canadian artisan cheese makers. It is a destination for people to learn about, explore and discover the great tastes, textures and varieties that Canada’s cheese artisans offer. They strive to make cheese accessible and fun and will be pairing eight different cheeses to the wines.
