Fiamme Restaurant & Bar’s New Menu Features Special Seasonal Favorites

Thousand Oaks, CA, November 13, 2009 --( What’s your favorite food memory? Is it the rich, creamy Mac and Cheese recipe passed from generation to generation, a comfort food like meat loaf, or the mouthwatering aroma of mom’s stuffed bell peppers? This Fall, proprietors Liz Beddow and Jerry White are introducing three new dishes as part of its new menu, Pumpkin Ravioli, Pickled Cucumber Salad with either salmon or shrimp, and Chef Bob Barber’s own creation of La Soupe À L'oignon, or French Onion Soup, that will evoke cherished memories and create new favorites.

“At Fiamme Restaurant & Bar, every dish feels good from the tantalizing Pumpkin Ravioli to Stuffed Bell Peppers to our savory French Onion Soup,” said proprietor Liz Beddow. “One bite and you’ll wonder if mom’s in the kitchen.”

The homemade Pumpkin Ravioli includes fresh pumpkin and ricotta cheese in a sage brown butter sauce seasoned with a special blend of spices and herbs. The French Onion Soup features locally grown onions, hand-selected Italian cheeses, homemade crustini, and a handcrafted blend of spices. The Pickled Cucumber Salad is made with cucumber, red onion, and red bell pepper, in a sweet and spicy marinade.

Hungry? Stop by on your way home. Call ahead and your table will be waiting or dinner ready to go. The restaurant is open Monday – Thursday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 12 a.m.
