New Smart Phone Application Generates Loyalty Points

Unique mobile ad server earns points from voice calls, SMS and email.

Brisbane, Australia, November 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mediawire today announced the release of BuddiRewards, a free application for Nokia smart phones that lets users earn Loyalty Reward Points.

Based on the concept of social networking, BuddiRewards generates points that can be redeemed on the phone in the BuddiRewards Mobile Store. Store items includes new mobile phones, games, mobile ringtones, full length music tracks, wallpapers and the option to donate to popular local causes.

BuddiRewards is free to download and use and works on all popular Nokia smart phones.

According to Alistair Campion, CEO of Mediawire, BuddiRewards is unique in that it shares the advertising revenue with its subscribers. “From the very beginning we wanted a win/win solution for everyone involved. This includes the content providers, the users and the publisher.”

BuddiRewards works seamless in the background and does not affect the everyday functions of your Nokia phone. Reward points are generated against incoming calls, SMS messages and emails. “Every part of BuddiRewards is configurable, you even get to decide how much money you want to earn” said Alistair Campion.

BuddiRewards demonstrates Mediawire's unique monetarisation platform. "A lot of companies talk about making money from mobile, but very few are able to demonstrate how a free mobile application can generate a recurrent income stream from voice, SMS and email. We have wrapped all this around a very compelling social networking application that includes visual contact management, a free IMAP email account and an integrated mobile store. All this functionality weighs in at under 450k creating a very small footprint on your mobile phone", said Alistair Campion.

Launched to tap into the huge popularity of Nokia Nseries and Eseries smart phones, BuddiRewards will also be available for Google Android phones in early 2010.

BuddiRewards can be downloaded for free at www.buddirewards.com

(Nokia is a registered trade mark of Nokia Corporation and has no commercial affiliation with Mediawire Pty Ltd).
