Indications of a Double-Dip Recession Seen at Valcor - The Business Debt Restructuring & Mediation Services Firm. Small Business Cash Flow Problems at Historic Levels.

The Economy is in Double-Dip Recession! The Economy is Improving! The Economy is Flat! The Economy is... Both the Bulls & Bears are out. The good news is that many of us have learned how to determine what is "spin" and what is fact. Unfortunately, most of what we are seeing in the daily headlines is spin. Politically motivated is the primary reason, but ulterior motives certainly are prevalent.

Vancouver, Canada, November 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- It seems that no matter where you turn today, there are differing opinions about what is truly happening in this, unarguably, the worst economy in over 70 years.

Are we heading out of the woods? Or are have we simply leveled off due to the unsustainable amount of money the government has thrown at the problem, only pushing off to tomorrow the dire results of a devalued U.S. Dollar and the predicted hyper-inflation due to all the printed money now circulating?

Mark Zandi, chief economist and cofounder of Moody's Economy.com told the Joint Economic Committee, "The Great Recession has finally come to an end, in large part because of unprecedented policy efforts by the Federal Reserve and fiscal policymakers."

Never mind that the third-quarter numbers included “Cash For Clunkers” and other direct government intervention that skewed the numbers by 3 times the real number.

Wells Fargo’s Chief Economist John Silva had this to say: “Two thirds of the growth was driven by “Motor Vehicles & Parts”, “Residential Fixed Investment” and “Federal Government” - that is the sale of autos and homes spurred by Cash For Clunkers, The 1st Time Home Buyer Tax Credit and low mortgage rates, and increased government spending.”

What’s the real story? Because the Department of Commerce crunched their numbers and the result comes out positive that means we are all better off? None of the 15.7 million officially unemployed Americans is thinking the recession (Great or otherwise) is over; especially if you are one of the over five million people who have been out of work for more than six months.

The team at Valcor does not cheerlead a downturn in the economy. In fact, while their business is extremely busy today, they are saddened to see some companies that are too far gone... Valcor simply cannot help. The effects of the credit crisis and slowdown in business to business payments are far reaching.

David H. Sussman, M.A. CEO at Valcor states "As we are on the front lines of what we like to think is the Real Economy (the Small Business economy), and we see a tremendous amount of pain.

"We see business owners; 2nd, 3rd and even 4th generation family businesses closing their doors. We see business partners suing each other and ending up in court. We see creditors chasing countless business people who have guaranteed business loans with their own personal credit. We listen to people share their stories with us, looking for a way, anyway to save their business and their livelihood.

"People will share with us their intimate details of their lives. We are their shoulder to lean on. At Valcor we pride ourselves on providing solutions to peoples biggest problems. We are that knight in shining armor... a lighthouse in stormy seas... we are a businesses last and only hope. We save businesses and families. And yes, we are proud of our work."

Brent Kahlen, Executive Director of Training & Support stated “In the 30 years I have been providing this service, I have never seen so much business. We are busier now that we have ever been before”.
