Crescent State Bank Assistant Vice President Honored At Women In Business Awards

Triangle Business Journal Names Julie Clark To Exclusive List oOf Top Women Professionals

Garner, NC, October 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Julie Clark, assistant vice president of Crescent State Bank, was recognized as one of the Triangle’s top businesswomen by the Triangle Business Journal at the “Women in Business Awards” event held on Thursday, Aug. 10, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in RTP. Clark was honored as one of 25 Triangle area female executives who have displayed exemplary leadership in business and was presented with the award at the luncheon.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this prestigious award, especially given the distinguished company in which I am receiving it, company that includes many of North Carolina’s most integral and influential women,” said Clark. “Winning this award is incredibly meaningful to me because it represents the views of professionals outside my specific sphere of influence. This recognition is a wonderful affirmation of my efforts thus far in my career.”

About Julie Clark:
Julie Clark, a native North Carolinian from Wake County, has over 18 years of successful banking experience and studied business administration at Louisburg Junior College and Wake Technical Community College. As the assistant vice president of Crescent State Bank’s Garner office, Clark manages all lending needs for consumer and small businesses. Clark is active in a number of local civic and community organizations, including: Rotarian with the Garner Mid-Day Rotary, Garner Go-Getters Chapter of Business Network International, Garner Chamber of Commerce, and the Women’s Leadership Initiative for United Way. She is a Hand-In-Hand volunteer, Relay For Life contributor and volunteer, Team Captain for the American Heart Association Heart Walk, and a member of the Wake County Sheriff’s Office Family Support Group. She resides in Garner with her husband Bob and their daughter Reagan.
