The Lakes at Chaparral is Bringing New Meaning to Resort Style Living at an Affordable Price
A new planned residential development will offer future buyers looking for a waterfront lot in the Okanagan the opportunity to become members of the development team. As a member of the team the purchase price of the lot is reduced dramatically since team members participate in developer profits. The planned resort also will be the first to offer smaller detached homes from 600 square feet to 1800 square feet believing that smaller is greener and more affordable.
The first 50 future residents who register to become members of our development team will be rewarded by having a special purchase price for a waterfront lot. For team members, the price of their waterfront lot will be dramatically reduced from $249,000 (projected price to the general public after construction begins) to $149,000 (special price to the first 50 residents who join the team before construction begins ).
Smaller detached homes ranging in size from 600 square feet to 1800 square feet will be encouraged believing that smaller is environmentally and financially smarter. Residents will be able to choose between modular homes that can be ready to be moved into within a few months or custom homes built to their own plans.
Over seven million dollars of amenities are planned for the enjoyment of residents. In addition to Goose lake that is 54 acres, other water features will include man made lakes and associated waterways between the lakes. Palomino lake will have a park that will include tennis courts and a boat dock. Pinto lake will have several sand beaches, change room facilities for swimming and an overnight campground. Throughout the 300 acre resort will be numerous biking and hiking trails (over 15,000 lineal feet). Residents will be able to share a 4 acre community garden. A fenced dog park will allow their pets to run free. The 10,000 square foot clubhouse will be surrounded with numerous other amenities such as tennis courts, putting greens, bocce courts, an outdoor amphitheatre for summer concerts and a marina for motorless boats such as kayaks and day sailors.
Last but not least, the resort enjoys an excellent location. Being high up on bench lands overlooking the valley, the land evokes both a sense of privacy and distance from the surrounding areas. Yet, shopping, golf and skiing are only minutes away.
By inviting future residents of the resort to join with the developer at the start of the project by becoming team members of the development group, resort living becomes attainable for many who otherwise could not afford this resort lifestyle.
