)-- Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P. (CB&H) (www.cbh.com) will host their annual Not-For-Profit “One-Day MBA” seminar, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle, located at 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd. in Cary. The seminar will address how the current operating environment has impacted nonprofit organizations in such ways as increasing government scrutiny, the creation of a more complex Form 990, the market’s negative impact on endowments, North Carolina’s turbulent economic conditions, and new approaches to donor and volunteer relations.
“Our firm is uniquely positioned to provide cost-effective and practical advice to nonprofit organizations, and we are pleased to do so,” said Paul Fedorkowicz, partner-in-charge. “Through this seminar, we plan to assist not only those organizations who have felt the effects of the sluggish economy, but also those who are excited to incorporate new techniques into their operations in an effort to become more successful. We look forward to the start of an ongoing conversation for all involved in our seminar on December 8.”
