Best Web Sites Announced in 10th Annual WebAward Competition covering 96 Industries including Small Business

West Simsbury, CT, October 09, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the Best of the Small Business Industry Web site Winner for the 10th annual international WebAward Competition, the Internet’s premier Web site award competition.

“The Internet has given small businesses the ability to serve customers outside their geographic area,” said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “Expanding your customer base can be difficult, but those who enter the WebAward competition can gain valuable feedback on how to leverage their website as a tool to attract new customers.”

The small business websites are judged on the following seven criteria during the WebAward competition:

Design
Innovation
Content
Technology
Interactivity
Copy writing
Ease of use

The overarching goal of the WebAward Competition is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing the most effective small business websites on the Net today.
