HobnobCharleston in collaboration with LEAP is announcing "Leap Into The Holidays" a fund raising event involving a silent auction, live music, food, beverages and fun. No cover just come help support this amazing non-profit that supplies therapy using horses to troubled kids.

Charleston, SC, December 04, 2009 --( HobnobCharleston in collaboration with LEAP, Lowcountry Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, want to announce “LEAP Into The Holidays.”

Shopping for the holidays is always better when you have food, adult beverages, and live music. Participate in the silent auction to help troubled lowcountry kids and their families.

Thursday, December 3rd from 5-8PM head out to the Triangle Char & Bar located at 828 Savannah HWY in West Ashley. Come get some of your shopping done early, enjoy music and fine spirits, and best of all, do it all for a good cause.

Finding the LEAP program has changed lives of children and families all over the Charleston area. LEAP is a team of diverse, highly experienced professionals who combine their expertise in psychology and their love of horses to make a difference in the lives of members of our Lowcountry community who are experiencing emotional challenges.

They collaborate with team members, with referring providers, and with the horses to create a safe, compassionate environment where patients can explore new, effective ways of meeting life’s challenges. All LEAP clinicians and horse professionals are certified by EAGALA.

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy is especially helpful in working through the emotional roadblocks and issues experienced by abused and neglected children, troubled youths, and adults who have suffered emotional traumas or struggle with mental health difficulties.
