Local Consignment Shop Startup Uses Green Materials for Its "Recycled Clothing" Shop
Battle Ground, WA, December 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A Real Find Design – A family consignment shop in Battle Ground Washington is now under construction, and its owners are looking to green or recycled products wherever they can.
Store co-owner Travis Wolfe comments, “We are excited about the consignment/resale model and look forward to exploring all of the green options our store can take advantage of. As a resale shop, our inventory consists mostly of high quality used clothing. The whole store is really recycling in its purest form… from one customers closet to another!”
In this instance, A Real Find Design Family Consignment has employed the use of recycled paint from Metro in Portland Oregon. The store is using recycled paint that is Green Seal Certified and Certified by the Master Painters Institute. “Choosing Metro’s recycled MetroPaint paint just made sense. It is quality paint, and the pricing is also very good” says Travis. As the store comes together, A Real Find Design’s owners intend on exploring and using other recycled and green materials as well, including recycled fixtures that would have been otherwise sent to the dump or scrap yards. Even processes in the stores operation get a conservation evaluation before they are made policy. Travis states: “We have decided to use computerized record keeping systems to cut back on the amount of paper we will use in the stores. Consignors can simply go online to check their account balances and credit amounts, keeping us from having to print handouts every time they enter the store”.
A Real Find Design hopes to open the doors to consumers in Mid December 2009.
