Vision IT and Ty Wilmore Earn New Certification/Credential

Nashville, TN, December 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The founder and Principal consultant of Vision IT, Ty Wilmore, has earned the Project Management Institute’s most recognized and respected global credential -- the Project Management Professional or PMP®.

To obtain a PMP credential, an individual must satisfy education (35 hours) and experience (no less than 4500 hours) requirements, agree to adhere to a professional code of conduct and pass the rigorous PMP examination. The PMP Certification Program supports the global community of project management practitioners and is designed to objectively assess and measure professional knowledge. Additionally, Vision IT has been certified with the Tennessee Governor’s Office of Diversity Business Enterprise’s (Go-DBE) office with the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. The MBE certification presents opportunities in competing for contracts from the government and large corporations in the form of goals established for minority owned business participation, either as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
